Towards a cure !

The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is fast approaching and I'm still $350 short of my goal. The economic situation of the world certainly isn't helping our cause and we both know how difficult it is to part ways with much needed funds but if you can spare a dollar, you can help us make an impact in the fight against breast cancer.

This event funds life-saving research in the ongoing battle against Breast Cancer and this year the walk has become bigger - with funds being used to target all women's cancers. You can read here about the way the funds are used and here about the research being done for other women's cancers.

Many important women in my life have battled cancer, some have won, some have lost and some continue to battle. =mombeam is a survivor, my grandmother eventually lost her battle and ^JunkbyJen is currently fighting as well as my aunt. We are hard-pressed to find anyone anymore who doesn't have a tale to tell about themselves or someone they love. Please help us in fighting back. Take a minute, donate a dollar or more and together we will make a difference.
